Perhaps after a gruelling session they’ve considered swapping out a nutritious meal for a Kardashian endorsed appetite suppressant lolly pop?⁣

Of course they haven’t. Whilst the diets of the athletes above may vary, they all consume real food. We idolize these people and believe their sporting abilities make their physiological make up different to ours, but they are just the same. Whilst their technical abilities, skill and conditioned fitness is far superior, they still have to monitor and control their lifestyle to fit their goal - just like we do.⁣

Whilst eating a variety of real food, an athlete’s balance of calories consumed will be controlled in relation to the amount of calories they expend. This doesn’t mean we have to turn our life upside down and take up athletics or tennis. Instead, we need to be smart enough to realise that the principle demonstrated by most athletes is all the evidence we require. ⁣

The products on the right of this graphic give no advantage to management of actual food. They do not nourish, do anything that a calorie deficit doesn’t already do, alter the laws of thermodynamics or cleanse us. They do however, cost a lot of money in exchange for misleading horse manure.

We are screwing around with nonsense products, making our own understanding more complicated. We are caught up in mainstream drivel via rumour or unfounded heresay when the reality is that we are not managing our existing diet.
⁣
Of those who take active steps to lose fat, rather than being accountable, high proportions are using ludicrous strategies in the expectation that they will achieve the goal. Alas, they do not.
⁣
In reality, fat loss is as simple an equation that has ever been unearthed by science. But then again, no one can sell a tub of “patient calorie deficit” in a box for £5799.99. 🎈⁣

This before pic was a few months before @bigworm310 and I started our weight-loss journey. 
I had already tried and failed to get on a healthy path so many times before May of 2018. Idk what changed that time, but it’s led me here. It just stuck. 
I didn’t start my weight-loss with the @21daymealplan. But after having lost 30lbs on my own I stalled...I found the plan on @jasminelosingit page, she really inspired me and I decided to go for it. But it wasn’t until about a month after buying it that I started it, as soon as I started it 💥 I started seeing results again. With the help of the plan and my awesome trainer @nlo_fitness I’ve been able to really get where I want to be.

Had a tummy tuck revision consultation today and learned that the tummy tuck I did on February 18, 2019 will need to be completely re-done. There should be no grab-able skin and this is how much is left. What the doctor said is he will cut above my belly button and pull the skin down to where the incision should be (UNDER my underwear line) and give me a new belly button.  It’s as if I never had a surgery to begin with. All of the pain, all of the agony, all of the time away from my kids, all of the painkillers - was all for nothing. 😭 The hardest words to hear from the surgeon I saw today was that this DOESN’T happen to people. Revisions, yes. Completely doing a tummy tuck 100% over, just doesn’t happen. 😓 I’m still processing this all but I’m just devastated right now. I appreciate all of your kind words. I will get through this ♥️

GET READY TO KILL THAT EXTRA FAT

WAKE UP TIME- 6:00 AM 
First thing in the morning, still at bed drink one big glass of warm water. Drink it slowly, watch your system getting activated. Warm water will kick start your metabolism which is extremely important for fat loss. Put some boiled water in a thermos bottle and keep it beside your bed so that you can have warm water when you wake up.

Now jump out of the bed, freshen up, get ready for a workout. > 20 Minutes of STRENGTH TRAINING at home or gym followed by ABS & CARDIO is good enough. Let your body cool down & get ready for breakfast.

MEAL 01 - BREAKFAST ( 8:00AM) 
Next meal should 4-5 hours after breakfast. However if you feel hunger drink water. If that doesn't fill you, you can have half a cup of green tea along with apple or orange or banana or any other seasonal fruits. ( 50 calories )

MEAL 02- Lunch ( 12:30 AM )

THE SLOWLY YOU EAT, THE LONGER YOUR TUMMY WILL BE FULL. 
MEAL 03- SNACKS ( 5:00 pm )

If at all you feel hungry after this meal, you can have half glass of turmeric milk one hour before going to sleep. (FOR BEST RESULTS HAVE YOUR DINNER 3 HOURS  BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP &

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUGARS IN FRUITS AND SUGARS IN CANDY BARS?⁣ 🍏🍓🥝🍬🍫🍭

Free sugars are not equal. Natural sugars that are found in fruits and vegetables (glucose, fructose) take longer to be digested by the body, whereas processed or refined sugar found in candies, can cause spikes in our blood sugar and insulin, leading to their storage as fat.⁣
⁣
Sugars found in fruits and veggies are accompanied by protein, fiber, minerals and vitamins that the body requires to metabolically function and stay healthy. For example, when you eat an apple, you not only get fructose, but also fiber and a wealth of vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, phytonutrients, pectin, quercetin and other flavonoids. This means that the digestive process will be slower, allowing the body to naturally process the sugar and convert it into glucose that the body can use, with very little fat storage.⁣
⁣
When you consume sucrose or high-fructose corn syrup, for example, it might be included in a candy bar, which has very little nutritional value and can be digested extremely quickly by the body, resulting in a huge surge in blood sugar. In response to this burst of glucose, the pancreas will be stimulated to produce a large amount of insulin to counteract the spike in blood sugar. This will stop the energy conversion process. Remember, the liver is the only organ that can digest fructose, so when it becomes overworked, it simply converts the rest of the sugar into fat. At that point, the body doesn’t “think” that it needs any more energy. Hence, the famous sugar crash that leaves you feeling exhausted after you pound two cans of Coke.⁣

When it comes down to it fat loss is about creating an energy deficit: gotta have more calories going out than coming in. There’s no way around it, BUT....there are lots of ways to make that easier. Here are three:

1️⃣ Eat the same foods.  Find foods that enable you to hit your calorie & protein targets, that keep you full, and that you enjoy, and then stick with them. Have 1-2 “go-to” breakfast and lunch options and 5-6 “go-to” dinner options. Keep your kitchen stocked with these items. That’s not to say you have to be rigid and only eat these foods. If you want something else that meets the same criteria, go for it, but having these go-to meals can prevent a lot of last minute calorie bomb decisions when you’re just too rushed or tired to come up with a good option.

2️⃣ Have a Never Miss Twice plan: If one meal is higher in calories or even completely off the rails, no worry.  Just have a plan that the next meal or snack is right back on track. No guilt, or stress. The impact of one meal on your progress is minimal, unless it sets you off on a spiral of bad decisions afterwards.  That’s where this plan comes in handy👍

3️⃣Make it as convenient as possible.  There are so many convenient food options that can help you meet your goals.  Use them! Here’s my shortlist: Rotisserie Chicken, precooked frozen chicken, frozen, steamable vegetables, tuna packs, single serve Greek yogurt and cottage cheese, pre-sliced vegetables, protein bars, pre-made protein shakes, microwaveable rice/potatoes.

I do it because it keeps you on track.

Keeps you accountable.

It doesn’t have to be as large as this one, but doing some sort of meal prepping will benefit you down the line 100%. The reason why a lot of people don’t do it isn’t because it’s hard or way too time consuming, it’s because it’s so easy not to do it.

Heck you could do all your prep in the microwave although that would be gross you could still do it.

It’s like doing all the other little things in your routine that keep you productive.
