Not sure how people do sightseeing with kids! Thankfully Adam and I have been in London a couple of times before.. because now with kids, we’re only going to kid friendly places.. and basically somewhere where they will like too. I’m sure if we would have 2 strollers with us it would be different 😜 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you sightsee with kids?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Who said summer’s no time for French onion soup? 🇫🇷 I absolutely adored this rich, homey, cheesy, bready soulful staple on our Ultimate Paris Food Tour yesterday. The restaurant Les Philosophes makes absolutely everything from scratch and go through 200kg of onions a week. 🏋🏽♀️ And they sell just as much onion soup in summer as in winter. So go for it!
First time at the nail shop. I got rainbow 🌈 nails to match my beads. I’m vacation ready now 😊
In today’s shifting world, being a freelancer is becoming a more viable option.
The first leap is always the most difficult. Those who have worked in a corporate environment can be understandably sceptical. But if you don’t take that leap you will never know.
Morocco has some crazy beautiful designs in their architecture! Here are just a few. Enjoy!
Met wie ga jij vanavond sushi eten op het terras? Bij @the_old_jazz bestaat de dinerkaart grotendeels uit kleine gerechten. Je kunt die samen met je tafelgenoten delen. Gezellig shared dining op het terras! 🍣
It is time for Reader Request Wednesday's. This week we bring you a new Post Report from Asuncion, Paraguay: "Honestly the calmness of life here, the focus on family, the love of children, and the kindness of Paraguayans have been a great break from Washington, D.C. We can afford to have help which has increased my time with my family and that means a lot. We've enjoyed traveling Paraguay a bit but the best trips have been hops to other countries." What is your favorite networking trick? I would love to write something about it as many expats struggle to put themselves out there again and again to meet new people. And not just new friends but also potential business partners and vital contacts to get a foot into the job world. I have included a chapter about networking in my workbook already where I reveal my personal tricks. Here in the US I make the most out of the friendly and open culture and make it a habit to approach people via LinkedIn etc. and ask them out for a coffee. Might sound strange but it works! Did you try this? What I your approach? #networking#coffee#coffeedate

#expatsisters 👭👭👭👭 How is the end of year intensity going? Some of us moving 🏡 home or country, while others staying and feeling the emotions around dear friends who have become close to us who are now moving on. 😕
This can be an intense time for everyone in the #expatfamily, kids and parents (pets too!) alike. 👨👨👧👦 🐈 🐕
Amidst ALL OF THIS most of us are packing up suitcases 🧳 and preparing for a few international flights✈️ where we arrive to home countries and have many obligations to family at home awaiting. All this while we still process our #expatlife emotions and feelings (which are unseen and rarely discussed/inquired by family and friends back home)🤫 You feel me on this, right #expatladies ?!?✨ What to do with ALL the ‘to do’ing’ during this busy and emotional time of flux and movement? 🌀🌀🌀 Get yourself into nature whenever you can, even just to pop your feet into the grass or sand a few minutes each day. 👣
Ground into the earth and breathe deeply 🧘🏽♂️ into your hips. Fill yourself with light 🔆 thru your crown chakra and melt the tension in your body as you move deep nourishing breathinto your Whole Being. 🗝 This is the key for your flow and happiness amidst all the changefulness.
This is how you keep yourself as the Self 🎉and not as the little victim ‘me’ 🥺This is how you strengthen into the Essence of who you ARE 🏔 and say YES to each moment while staying FREE 🦢
If you want to work one on one with me they the summer break, know I have 5 special spots open NOW for those #expatwomen ready to leverage their challenges as their ultimate creative material for forming a #lifeabroad while being completely at home in yourSelf 🌀♾ Contact me if you’re interested in investing in being at home within yourSelf wherever life takes you and we can set up your free Discovery Session 🎉🌍 💜XC
Valuable, sage advice from @caroleonthefly 🤣
If you had one piece of advice for a new traveler, what would it be?

If I’m honest, I was a bit intimidated of the camel. 😂 I rarely take the opportunity to get on a horse, let alone a camel. My guide and I arrived at a camp site just before off-roading so he could deflate his tires so while he did, I took the opportunity to go on a ride. There were several men on site who were so kind to help me get on and off. Not once did I feel uncomfortable being the only woman amongst men and one of them was kind enough to offer and serve me hot tea. Shout out to these great guys..... the desert is hot ya’ll. ☀️ 🐪💗
Feeding time at the zoo 🍔🍟🦁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Canggu is full of delicious places to eat. It’s a nice place to come on holiday (or to stay for a while) because you can pretty much get all the home comforts you want as well experience the local Indonesian food. It’s homey and if you want to take a little trip to immerse yourself in the real Balinese culture you can. 🛵 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which do you prefer - trying the different tastes from other cultures OR sticking to what you know and enjoy? 🍛🍣🌮🍔🥞
