Happy Father’s Day from Quán Mii 💜 We hope everyone is having a great weekend full of fun & food!
Rose, pistachio, and cardamom creme brûlée.
I made these as an early Father's Day gift, and holy cow were they good. I love making creme brûlée. It's super easy (literally 3 ingredients) and a great recipe to experiment with delicate flavors in. Usually, teas and floral flavors don't survive the baking process unless you use wild amounts or extracts. But when making creme brûlée, you can steep teas and flowers in the heavy cream to build a flavor that survives the oven. For these, I used Siberian rose tea and ground cardamom. I lined the ramekins with a mix of crushed pistachios, sugar, and cardamom, which gave a crunchy, salty base for the smooth custard on top. This was so good I can't even describe it.

🍵 jasmine green tea w/ salted cheese: 4.5⭐️/5⭐️ || my go to at happy lemon. the salted cheese is sweet, creamy, and slighty salty, which goes well to balance the tea’s slight bitterness and floralness. i always get 30% sweet and half iced. i recommend 75% sweetness for your first time!
🥞original egg puffle: 4.5⭐️/5⭐️ || made-to-order egg waffle so it’s always hot and fresh! i love this bc it’s not too sweet and it’s also crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. i’ve only ever had these at night markets so it’s really nice to be able to get this in a boba shop at a fraction of the price. this also comes in the flavors chocolate or green tea w/ red bean.

💙 pudding & q mochi milk shaved ice: 3⭐️/5⭐️ || yummy mochis (q mochi reminds me of boba)! the drizzles of condensed milk makes it sweet, but not too overwhelming. good for sharing between 2-3 people.
💚signature ice jelly: 4.5⭐️/5⭐️ || my favorite thing to get at meet fresh! there's herbal-tea flavored shaved ice underneath the jelly (not pictured). it's refreshing and packed with childhood nostalgia of those canned grass jelly drinks. i also usually ask for an extra creamer for max yumminess.

Vegan croquettes by @michalakramer 💚
5 medium potatoes
1 clove of garlic
half cup of flour (buckwheat if gluten free)
2tbsp ground flax seed & 5 tbsp of water, mixed
1 teaspoon of paprika
salt and pepper
In a small bowl start by mixing the flax seeds with the water. Leave to thicken for 5 minutes.
Wash and peel the potatoes. Then shred the cabbage and potatoes in small pieces.
Mix the shredded cabbage and potatoes in a bowl with garlic, flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Add the flax seed mix too and combine. The mixture will be a little wet because of the water from the potatoes.
Form the dough into croquettes shape or which shape you’d like. Roll them all in breadcrumbs.
Heat a small saucepan with some oil. Carefully add in the croquettes. Leave to cook until crispy and golden brown. #bestofvegan
