Your period is the perfect time to reflect back on the month that you have had. Have you noticed that your premenstrual and menstrual symptoms sometimes change from month to month... Sometimes worse, sometimes better.. 🤷🏽♀️ You could almost consider your period a report card from the previous cycle 😉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Although we all try stick to a consistent healthy and balanced routine.... falling ill, alcohol, poor diet, no exercise, antibiotics, increased stress are likely to throw you off balance.. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These are the times to pay a little more attention to your upcoming period! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you feel as though you are more symptomatic:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Heavy flow, anxiety, increased back pain, cramps, headache, bloating...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤔 Think back and take note of the lifestyle changes you may need to make.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Breath in • Pause • Breath out⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Rest, Recovery and Reflection.
One of my daily habits is hitting pause and reflecting on all the good things in my life - whilst out in nature or listening to beautiful music from movies I love.
I’ve learned to cultivate this into my day.
I choose to experience vitality, joy and appreciation of beauty and excellence DAILY.
I can feel it big time when I skip this daily practice.
I switch from being in an optimal state where I’m ultra productive, calm and clear headed - to being in my head and not performing at my true potential.
Rituals like this help us step away from the human-doing culture, and connect back into being a human-being!
We experience the benefits immediately.
It’s a practice that our future-self can thank us for.
So simple. It changes how we show up to life and how we experience each day when we hit pause to be present, appreciative and grateful.
What is something you can do to rest, reflect and recover? 💛 Quote / Image shared via @alexipanos

“Walk and touch happiness every moment.
Each step brings a fresh breeze.
Each step makes a flower bloom under our feet.
Kiss the Earth with your feet.” - Thich Naht Hanh #walking#mindfullness#buddhistmeditation
Grateful for people like David who has created www.panicfree.co.nz - a method based on facing and acceptance therapy, if you know anyone struggling with anxiety no matter how bad I encourage you to take a look at his website! ❤️
Are you not a little curious of what life would look like if you stepped out of your comfort zone? Are you not a little curious of what you can achieve if you let go of your fear? Are you not a little curious of life, the world around you and the universe inside you? Let curiosity lead you into the unknown, let it you show you how far you can go, how high you can fly, how loud you can roar! 🦁 ❤️ #Merkaba#light#spirit#body#holistichealth#holisticlifecoach#energy#energyhealing#mindfullness#positivemindset#faithintheunknown#lifejourney#nofear#love#spiritualbeings#weareallconnected#reikihealing#healthymindandbody#curiousity
Thankful, grateful, appreciative,... However you put it, gratitude is perennial wisdom that has the ability to transform your life experience.
Pause for a moment and think of one thing you are grateful for.
The easiest way to express gratitude is to be satisfied in the moment.
Our breath is often the only thing we can control in difficult moments. Noticing the quality of our breath can tell us a lot about what’s going on in our mind and body. When our minds wander off to future worries or things we can’t control we can return to our breath which brings us back into our bodies and the present moment. This is helpful for those moments of overwhelm or anxiety. You can bring your attention to your breath and then to sensations in your body, sounds, objects, smells, and temperature of your environment. So breathe. Be still and open to the wisdom waiting for you in the stillness and presence of your body in the sacred here and now.
“I believe that everything happens for a reason. .
People change so that you can learn to let go
things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right
you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself
and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
Just love .. in the harder times love more it’s that simple and ultimately that’s the lesson of this existence ..it’s easy to love when it suits .. however the work is to love and show compassion when we are aggrieved or have been wronged that’s when love needs to kick in so the healing can begin .. peace love and blessings on this beautiful Sunday wherever you may be ❤️🙏🏼 #love#breakthecycle#trust
