Bruh. Not today. Please feel free to scroll around before you assume anything. The passive aggressive comments are hella annoying. Why not just be an adult and properly communicate that you’d like help or direction with your hair? I’m available for consult and not to mention I post TONS of videos!
Never give up on a dream because of the time it will take to accomplish it!! Time will pass away...
I love me a good braidout😍, this is the braidout from my oil vs butter part 2 video. I used proclaim Shea Butter leave-in moisturizer, then on one side of me head I used oil and on the other I used oil and butter. The results were pretty interesting, if this sounds like something you would be interested in seeing click the link and my bio and check it out.🌷
Hey Curl Friends, hey 👋🏾 You all know that I like to keep my routine simple which is why I love this Proceed With Caution 4-Way Conditioner by @themanechoice ⚠️ It's a time saver for me because it's a co-wash, leave-in, detangler, and rinse out all in one bottle. So no need to have multiple bottles, just use this one. Okuurrr!
Plus I love the Japanese Cherry and Chia Seed Oil and the Biotin.
Japanese Cherry oil improves elasticity to reduce breakage.
Chia Seed oil strengthens and helps to reduce moisture loss leaving hair soft, silky, and smooth 💣💣
So make your summer routine easy and head to @sallybeauty locations or @themanechoice website.

Whew! What a loooooong journey for me and this head of hair but I’m so beyond proud of her progress! For those of you that are struggling! Keep going! We tried to transition originally in 2015. She gave up lol 6 months in. She thought about trying to transition again in 2016. No go. She had the same excuses everyone else had/have (don’t have the natural kind of hair, my job, I don’t know how to take care of it, etc.) In 2017 she decided ok I can do this. Last relaxer January 7, 2017. She told me “Do NOT let me get another relaxer” That’s all I needed to hear. Every time she tried to book a relaxer I went in my system to cancel it 😂😂. July 2017 she wanted another relaxer lol. We big chopped Nov 2017. She was afraid of how her hair would look short but she did it anyway! Look at her growth (the last video) in 2019 (really yesterday)! ➿
Her secret? Consistently wearing, training and learning her hair and of course me helping along the way! No putting it away and waiting for magic to happen. No flat ironing until enough hair has grown long enough to wear it curly. Straight up jumping in head first and going thru the highs and lows to eventually being on cruise control and mastering her natural hair! Believe it or not she told me she’s now bored with her hair and want to cut it all off 🤦🏾♀️. I will not cut it so she will have to find someone else.😩🤷🏾♀️ Thankfully her husband is on my side and we both say NO! 😂
🤣Exactly😍😍 The struggle is real

Hair of the Day for my sweet pea Erin 💆🏾♀️| Whenever I do her hair I always tell her to go look in the mirror to see what she thinks. I don’t always get a favorable reaction, 😩😲🤨🤷🏾♀️ but this one was approved. 😆😎💁🏾♀️ #Returning2Natural
The Lord is my Shepherd I lack nothing... that which I do not have was not meant for me. That which is blessed upon me is enough for me. I am capable of achieving/overcoming anything presented to me, HE will never give me more than I can bear🙏🏾

So usually when people I meet see my kids, I get “your children have beautiful hair” then the next thing is, “what do you use?” Then it’s “Your kids just have good hair”. ___________________________________
Anyone can have good hair if it is well cared for and looked after and that is what I do. It’s just that simple.
Summer time in the Five Island Romper
(Please read 🙏)
Before you claim you understand your natural hair, I hope you put all these into consideration:
Healthy lifestyle(healthy diet, detox routine, safe haircare practices etc)
We claim to love our hair, but find it difficult to show it.
When you like a flower, you pluck it,but when you love it,you water it to grow and bring more of its goodness.
We care about our skin so much more than we care about our hair,we take our time to select the best soap, cream, makeup etc for our skin and then end up using "anything goes" for our hair.
So today,I want us to do a sincere check and balance, "How much time do I spend on my skin vs my hair"
"Do I really love my hair or do I claim to love it"
When you understand your natural hair, its so easy to LOVE it,understanding is key because it helps you see more reason why you need to love and care for your natural hair, and when you take good care of your natural hair, people around admire your hair, you get complements that will make you want to wear your natural hair out more often, you'll become proud of your natural hair, you'll become proud of your strength as a true African woman.
Your hair is the crown you never take off
You are a Queen
Fix your Crown. .
Stay with us,in our next posts, will treat the topics one after another
Meanwhile, let me know the topic you'd love to learn about.
Have a blessed and fruitful day
The past two years have proven to be the most challenging for me thus far. I hadn’t had time to feel, let alone heal. In doing so, I allowed myself to settle for less and forfeited my happiness for the sake of others, which caused these years to become progressively worse. Crazy how much you put up with when you don’t know your worth! I fell into spiral of self-loathing and I knew how to stop it.. I was just too scared to of change. Once God pushed me to make a move by showing me the danger of my situation, my decision became easier to make. I chose me. Choosing myself has given me so many reasons to smile these days. I am falling in love with myself again and it feels amazing. I will never EVER, settle again! I’ve never had such a clear view of my purpose and such a positive outlook on my future. Thank you to all my family, friends, and supporters who check on me, pray for me, remind me who I am, and let me know how proud they are of my progress! I am doing so so much better❤️ A full update will be on my channel soon!

In honor of #TextureTuesday, here is a shot of my curls after applying water and raking my fingers through. Fun fact: The back of my head has an entire different set of curls that are much kinkier.
The process... Braidout styled with @devacurl ... I always deep condition before my styles like this one because I find it makes my curls more plump and my results better because my hair is moisturized.
